MySQL

MySQL is owned and sponsored by a single for-profit firm, the Swedish company MySQL AB, now a subsidiary of Sun Microsystems, which holds the copyright to most of the codebase. The OpenSSL Project
The OpenSSL Project is a collaborative effort to develop a robust, commercial-grade, full-featured, and Open Source toolkit implementing the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL v2/v3) and Transport Layer Security (TLS v1) protocols as well as a full-strength general purpose cryptography library. The project is managed by a worldwide community of volunteers that use the Internet to communicate, plan, and develop the OpenSSL toolkit and its related documentation.

In computer programming, Perl is a high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming language. Perl was originally developed by Larry Wall, a linguist working as a systems administrator for NASA, in 1987, as a general purpose Unix scripting language to make report processing easier. Since then, it has undergone many changes and revisions and become widely popular among programmers.

Symitar
Symitar is a division of Jack Henry providing core systems to credit unions. It was founded in 1984 and acquired by Jack Henry in 2000. Symitar's flagship product is Episys, a core processing software application used by about 500 credit unions. The Epysis platform is notable for being fairly customizable. It has its own PowerOn scripting language (most refer to it as RepGen, short for its original name of Report Generator) and its own SymConnect interface which allows access to the core database by Symitar and Jack Henry add-on modules, as well as by third-party add-on providers.
